Once COVID hit and theatres closed, Conner started his dance journey with Leah Boresow. He continued his vocal and improv training, and started writing all while performing in their season.

Here he had his professional theatre debut in Aurora’s 24th Anniversary of Christmas Canteen directed by David Rossetti. Post graduation, Conner accepted a position in the Aurora Theatre’s 2019-2020 Apprentice Company. He has continued his training with Alice Saltzman through her numerous scene study intensives comprised of hand picked NYU Tisch students throughout the years. During his time there, he studied under Patrick Quagliano, Alice Saltzman, Elena Zucker, Jonathan Hopkins, and David Deblinger. He was accepted as a member of the 2017 Summer Conservatory Program. The Stella Adler Studio of Acting Conservatory in New York City was Conner’s second home during his undergrad. In his final year, he received the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) Irene Ryan Nomination for his senior capstone portrayal of Torvald Helmer in “A Doll’s House, Part 2” directed by Amy Pinney. During his four years there, he developed his craft while adding voice lessons and improv to his tool belt. He received his undergrad BA in Theatre degree from Georgia College. He finalized his high school school career by receiving an Honorable Mention Nomination for Best Actor at the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards, and winning Runner-Up in Humorous Interpretation at the GFCA Varsity State Competition. This led to many high school productions as well as speech and debate competitions. His love of performing was born during his second grade production of “Go Fish” in which he played the Blowfish and memorized the whole script. Enrollment into the enhanced curriculum option is very limited.Born and raised in Alpharetta, GA, Conner is no stranger to the Atlanta area. The dates, hours, and tuition is the same as the main Summer Conservatory. This program is optional and is not a requirement for applying to the Summer Conservatory.

To be considered for the Enhanced Curriculum Option, applicants will need to submit an audition consisting of a performance of two contrasting monologues: one contemporary/realism and one classical that should be no longer than 90 seconds in length each. The Summer Conservatory offers an Enhanced Curriculum Option for experienced actors seeking a more rigorous level of work in the Summer Conservatory. International students may apply for the Summer Conservatory as it is eligible for the F1 Student Visa. Interviews will be conducted online via Zoom. Once the studio receives the submitted application and supporting materials, an associate will contact the applicant to schedule the interview.
